Four senior students from the Advertising and Marketing course traveled to Rome, to represent the School in the European project Businet International Trade Mission.

International Trade Mission Rome 2023, promoted by Businet, brought together 153 students, accompanied by 26 teachers, from 18 European higher education institutions (Belgium, Spain, France, Lithuania, Norway, The Netherlands and Portugal), with the aim of providing students with a real internationalization experience. ESCS, the only Portuguese institution of the initiative, was represented by the senior students Ana Patrícia Marreiros, Margarida Roque, Melanie Mendes and Nicole Fernandes, from the Advertising and Marketing course. The students were oriented by Prof. PHD João Ferreira do Rosário. The Dean and the Associated Dean of ESCS, Prof. PHD André Sendin and Prof. PHD Sandra Miranda, respectively, also attended the event, in Rome.

The Swiss School of Management – Roma Business School was the host institution that welcomed the European delegation for a week of activities, which took place between March 5th and 9th.  In the aftermath, Prof. PHD João Ferreira do Rosário considered that ESCS’ participation in the initiative was "extremely positive", referring to "the networking of students and teachers" and the opportunity for students to work with "real companies, in a project that gave them a first experience of a professional nature in an internationalization environment”.
