André Sendin and Sandra Miranda presented ESCS' strategic plan of “Relationship with Society” as part of the GUNi International Call to Action.

ESCS’ Dean, Professor André Sendin, and Associate Dean, Professor Sandra Miranda, participated in the third in-person meeting of the GUNi International Call to Action (GUNi – ICA), held in Barcelona from June 2nd to 4th.
The event, promoted by GUNi (Global University Network for Innovation), brought together representatives from higher education institutions around the world to discuss the role of universities in social transformation, based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.

The third in-person meeting of the GUNi International Call to Action took place in Barcelona.


During the meeting, ESCS' leadership presented its Strategic Plan for "Relationship with Society", which guides the implementation of continuing education activities, knowledge transfer and innovation and social involvement. The document reflects ESCS’ dynamic approach to developing social innovation projects, partnerships with companies and civil society organizations, and organizing public events open to the community, factors that actively contribute to the promotion of citizenship, inclusion and sustainability.

Collaboration Protocol

ESCS has been a member of the GUNi network since 2022 and, in 2024, signed a collaboration protocol with the Associació Catalana d'Universitats Públiques (ACUP), enabling participation in the GUNi – ICA 2023–2026 program. This partnership allows participation in seminars, workshops and exchange visits.
