Laboratório Multimédia

Multimedia Labs 1, 2 and 4  (Floor -1, Floor -2 and Floor 0)

Multimedia Labs 1, 2 and 4 are more geared towards carrying out work in the areas of web and mobile design and development.

The rooms have 90 workstations with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite installed.

The Multimedia Lab 2 also has the Eclipse development environment installed. This software allows the development of applications, namely for mobile.

These rooms are connected to a laser printing system and digitization (A4 and A3). Impressions are prepaid in the Academic Services.

The Multimedia Lab 1 is located on the -1 floor, the Multimedia Lab 2 on the -2 floor and the Multimedia Lab 4 on the 0 Floor.

Multimedia Lab 3  (Floor -2)

The Multimedia Lab 3 is oriented towards the development of works in the areas of audiovisual and interaction.

This space is equipped with 28 Mac Mini computers with software from Adobe.

The Blender program is also available, which allows modeling and animation of 3D objects. The software Unity further makes it possible to develop videogames.

Video editing is done in Davinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere. The Laboratory is also equipped with Pro Tools, which allows audio capture, editing and post-production.

Multimedia Newsroom (Floor -2)

The newsroom has 28 Mac Mini stations with direct access to information from Agência Lusa. This space is prepared for the production of multimedia content, namely in the areas of written, digital and television journalism.

Davinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer are used for video editing. 

Adobe Creative Cloud software is also installed at the stations, which allows you to develop content for print and screen.

Organizational Communication Lab  (Floor 0)

This large space is suitable for the development of group work.

The room has 30 stations, where Public Relations and Corporate Communication students can carry out communication plans or public relations campaigns. The development of these works presupposes the use of micro-sites, newsletters and social networks, among others.

The computers are equipped with the Microsoft Office suite and the SPSS statistical program. These posts also have direct access to information from Agência Lusa.

Informatics Labs 1 and 2  (Floor -1)

In each laboratory there are 28 workstations, equipped with the SPSS statistical program and the Microsoft Office suite (including the Visio program for developing diagrams).

Advertising and Marketing students have the possibility to simulate marketing strategies through the use of Markstrat software. They can also carry out media planning and analysis of advertising investments, using the Markdata Media Workstation and Marksel programs, both provided by the company Marktest.

Both rooms are connected to a printing and scanning system (A4 and A3). Prints are prepaid at the Academic Services.

Workroom (Floor -1)

The Work Room is a free space where students can develop work outside the classroom.

This room has 20 individual workstations with the Microsoft Office suite and the SPSS statistical program.

The room is connected to a laser printing system that also allows the scanning of documents (A4 and A3). Prints are prepaid with virtual credit, which can be loaded at the Academic Services.

Audiovisual Equipment Center (Floor -2)

In the Audiovisual Equipment Center, students have access to material for carrying out school work.

The request can be made by students who intend to develop curricular works or extracurricular activities, inserted in the school's cores or in the E2 television program.

Technical staff lead the entire request process.
