The ESCS Eco-Schools programme took part in the National Eco-Schools Seminar 2026, held in Guimarães, thereby reinforcing ESCS’s commitment to education for sustainability.

As part of this national event, ESCS Eco-Schools organised the workshop “Quando os números da Sustentabilidade saem do papel”, a session dedicated to the importance of data and indicators in understanding, communicating and raising awareness of sustainability issues.

The workshop promoted data literacy applied to sustainability, encouraging participants to interpret quantitative information critically and to integrate it into real-life contexts, bringing data analysis closer to concrete action.

Participation in the National Eco-Schools Seminar 2026 was a significant opportunity for sharing and learning, as well as for strengthening the Eco-Schools network, contributing to the reinforcement of the role of educational institutions in building a more sustainable future.
