Objectives

This curricular unit aims at the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in the multimedia communication field.

Following the Design Thinking methodology, students will develop the necessary skills to run the research phase needed to start any kind of multimedia project.

Students will:

Acquire capabilities of conducting competitors and trends research, interviews, surveys, focus groups being aware of the risk of bias:

Create SWOT analysis, personas, customer journeys, HMW, and synthesize information in reports and presentations;

Train their oratorical skills with pitches given in front of the class audience, as well as external guests;

Understand the importance of stakeholders, technology, and users for the definition of the communication objective;

Develop communication analysis and problem-solving skills.
