Fernanda Bonacho, a faculty member at ESCS and holder of the UNESCO Chair in Communication, Media Literacy and Citizenship, has been elected to the MIL Alliance Global Board, strengthening Portugal’s presence in the international governance of media literacy.

A short film made by students from the Master’s degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia at ESCS has been selected for several national and international festivals and will be screened at Cinema São Jorge.

Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing
On December 22, the bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing held its first Escsiano PM Moment to bring students together and promote socializing.
Sustainability
As part of the Eco-Schools Programme, Advertising and Marketing students at ESCS created the institutional signature for the ECO ESCS brand, with the phrase “É escsito não seres eco!” by student Carolina Barreiras being selected.

ESCS celebrates 36 years of activity with a commemorative program that highlights its track record of excellence in training communication professionals.
Internationalization
The ESCS-IPL is taking part in the European AI-HED project, which promotes the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in higher education. After one year, the initiative already shows concrete results in staff training and in the integration of AI into teaching and learning.

Energy efficiency works
The energy efficiency improvement works at the ESCS building are already underway, under the PRR, reinforcing the modernization of the infrastructure and the School’s commitment to sustainability.
