Research Methodologies Applied to Public Relations

2nd SEMESTER / COURSE: PUBLIC RELATIONS STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

The intention of this unit is to allow students to reflect, evaluate and develop project analysis of different objects of study according to the different areas of research. It offers a generic approach of different conceptual frameworks that allow valid and reliable investigations, particularly in terms of data analysis. The unit will focus, however, a set of methodologies and techniques for analyzing material (digital or analog) written, oral or visual among which stand out as an example the methodologies and techniques of content analysis, the analysis techniques oriented conversational pragmatic, case studies, scenario building and analysis methodologies media and social media (mainly from the point of view of the reception and the comparison between the objectives and outcomes / impacts).
