Video Post-Production

Learning outcomes:
Provide students with the necessary skills to temporal organization of image and sound in linear audiovisual texts to inform and manipulate the spectator’s emotions.

The program covers theoretical and practical aspects of video editing and assembly related to the skills inherent to assistant editor and editor functions.
The theoretical contents addressed are the following (30 hours lessons):
The evolution of the publishing process and audiovisual assembly throughout the history of cinema and television genres.
The continuity editing.
The Montage.
Functions, division of labor , the main stages of editing.
The more complex objectives linear editing audiovisual.
Know the scheme of psychological concepts and mental script and how they help create dramatic tension in the mystery of forms, surprise, suspense and dramatic irony.
Operational knowledge necessary to process the editor of the work and video editing assistant in a non-linear video editing environment.
