Innovation, Technology and Society

Learning outcomes:
It is intended that Students understand innovation and technology development as social processes, being able of identifying and discussing its main theoretical perspectives. It is also intended that Students are able to describe the social, political and economic processes relevant in the history and media evolution, from the printed press to the new media. An other relevant aim consists in providing skills to gather, analyse and discuss empirical data and indicators associated to innovation and technological development.
