The U!REKA Thinkathon: Solve the City will take place on 16 and 17 November 2026 at Polytechnic University of Lisbon (UPL).

Over two days, higher education students and academic staff from different fields of study and institutions are invited to work together to identify and address real urban challenges, developing ideas and solutions for more sustainable, smarter and carbon-neutral cities.

The initiative promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, giving participants the opportunity to develop ideas, create prototypes, test solutions and present their projects.

The Thinkathon is open to students and academic staff from national and international higher education institutions, regardless of their field of study.
