The participation of ESCS students in the International Trade Mission 2026 in Berlin was marked by their presence at an international Trade Fair, where students had the opportunity to represent Portuguese brands and engage directly with the German market.

Integrated into the initiative promoted by Businet, the fair was one of the central moments of the mission, bringing together participants from different countries in an environment of sharing, innovation and collaboration. Throughout the event, students developed and presented export strategies, with particular emphasis on the work carried out around the Portuguese brand Olisboeta, focusing on its entry into the German market.

Participation in the Trade Fair enabled ESCS students to establish contacts with potential importers and international partners, thus putting into practice their communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in a real-world context. The pitch sessions, delivered to an international audience, proved to be a demanding challenge, contributing to the personal and professional development of the participants.

In addition to the trade fair, the programme in Berlin included networking moments and institutional visits to the Portuguese Embassy in Berlin and to AICEP, where students gained access to relevant information about the German market and internationalisation opportunities for Portuguese brands.

The experience in Berlin thus stood out as a unique opportunity for contact with the international business environment, enabling ESCS students to step out of their comfort zone and consolidate a practical and global understanding of the business world.
