Former students of the Escola Superior de Comunicação Social (ESCS) are taking part in an innovative project in the Portuguese sports media sector, developed by LiveMode TV, a streaming channel with a strong focus on fully digital, interactive broadcasting models tailored to new ways of consuming content.

Among the professionals involved are Filipe Pedras and Gonçalo Lopes, ESCS alumni, who are part of the team responsible for the development and promotion of this project. Their involvement highlights the practical application of the skills acquired during their academic training, as well as the role of ESCS in preparing professionals to meet the current challenges of the communication and audiovisual sector.

LiveMode TV holds, among other notable content, the broadcasting rights for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, emphasising a digital-centric approach, close engagement with online communities, and the creation of more participatory viewing experiences. The project aims to move away from traditional models, valuing authenticity, creativity, and communication skills in digital environments.

Through this initiative, LiveMode TV positions itself as an example of innovation in the digital media ecosystem, while also highlighting the role of ESCS alumni in transforming communication practices and creating new professional opportunities in the media and entertainment sector.
