Writing for Fiction Series (II)
Submitted by escs on 7 January 2026
Objectives

This course consists of two complementary parts. In the second part, working groups will be created that will mirror the principles of a ‘writers' room.’ In groups, students will develop a bible for a series, following the creative process from the idea to the writing of the first episode. At the end, students will have created a show bible that can be presented in real-world contexts.

Skills

At the end of this second stage, students should know how to apply techniques for developing ideas, organizing them systematically; structuring the script, creating the backbone of the action; developing characters; writing dialogue. Understand the importance of rewriting, revising, and formatting. Create an appealing pitch.
