The ESCS’s, part of Polytechnic University of Lisbon (UPL), and the Mission Structure for the Reconstruction of the Central Region of Portugal (EMRRC) signed a cooperation agreement on 21 October to promote the development of audiovisual and multimedia content as part of students’ academic training.
This educational partnership will be developed during the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year, as part of the Content Production Laboratory curricular unit, taught in the third year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia.
Through this collaboration, students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout their degree to the creation of audiovisual and multimedia projects related to the EMRRC’s activities. This will give them experience in a real-world context, bringing their academic training closer to the challenges they will face in their professional careers.
The project will be supervised by the lecturers responsible for the curricular unit, Jorge Souto, Reinaldo Rodrigues and Verónica Silva, in collaboration with the Mission Structure, which will contribute to defining the framework and supporting the development of the projects, subject to its operational availability.
Through this initiative, ESCS reinforces its commitment to practical, project-based learning, enabling students to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, while also fostering institutional collaboration and enhancing students’ skills.
