Finding accommodation is one of the key steps in preparing for a stay in Lisbon and, whenever possible, should be planned well in advance.
Students can choose from a range of accommodation options, including university residences, private student residences, rooms in shared apartments, or private rental accommodation.
ESCS students may apply for accommodation provided by the Social Welfare Services of the Polytechnic University of Lisbon (SAS-UPL), subject to the eligibility requirements, application deadlines and availability for each academic year.
In addition to UPL residences, Lisbon offers other university residences and student accommodation options.
Before signing a rental agreement or making any payment, students are advised to carefully check the accommodation conditions, location, available transport connections, included expenses and contractual terms.
