On 9 March at 2:30 pm, in room 2P9, ESCS will host the launch of the book Brands Driving Sociopolitical Change. Activism in Promoting Societal and Environmental Attitudes, by LIACOM researchers Alexandra Miguel and Sandra Miranda, published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
The event highlights the authors’ innovative scientific contribution to the advancement of knowledge in Strategic Communication, exploring the role of activist brands in promoting positive attitudes among consumers and employees towards society and the environment, within an increasingly values-driven market context.
The session will feature Professor María Victoria Durán, Professor of Communication and Advertising at the Universidad de Extremadura, who will present the book and reflect on its scientific contribution and the relevance of the topic. The opening of the session will be led by the Director of LIACOM, Jorge Veríssimo.
ESCS and LIACOM warmly invite the academic community, students, and interested professionals to attend this launch, which promises to be a moment of sharing and reflection on a key topic in contemporary Communication.
