On 19 February, ESCS welcomed a team of researchers from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication da Sofia University - "St. Kliment Ohridski", in an initiative organised by Professor Nuno Jorge and the Coordination of the Master’s in Public Relations Strategic Management, with the aim of strengthening institutional relations and promoting academic exchange.

The visiting team was composed of:
Professor Vesselina Valkanova, Dean of the University;
Professor Efrem Efremov, Head of the Department of Press Journalism and Book Publishing;
Professor Iva Ivanova;
Professor Nikolay Mihaylov.

The visit began with the Communications Service of ESCS giving a guided tour of the school’s facilities, followed by a meeting at the LIACOM office to exchange experiences and present research projects.

This was followed, at 6:30 p.m., by a masterclass delivered by Prof. Efrem Efremov, entitled: “The Future of Sports and News Reporting at the Olympic Games and Major Events”.

The session took place in room 1P8, as part of the Master’s Degree in GERP at ESCS, and provided students with a unique opportunity to learn from a specialist with nearly 40 years of experience in journalistic practice and research.
