On 13 February 2026, ESCS held the welcome session for students arriving under the Erasmus+ mobility programme, marking the beginning of the 2nd semester of the 2025/26 academic year.
The session was attended by around 30 incoming students and took place in Room 2P9 at 2.30 pm. The meeting aimed to introduce the institution, explore academic life at ESCS, and provide essential information for a successful mobility experience.
The session began with the distribution of welcome packs prepared by ESCS’s Communication Service. This was followed by a presentation from GRIMA, represented by Professor Carla Medeiros and staff member Marcos Melo, who welcomed the students and explained the academic and administrative support services available.
This was followed by a presentation by Psychologist Vivienne Rosário, who introduced resources and strategies to support students’ wellbeing, essential for a smooth adjustment to their new academic and cultural life.
The session also included the participation of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), which shared information about activities, events, and opportunities for social integration within the ESCS student community. Finally, the Associação de Estudantes da ESCS (AE ESCS) led a guided tour of the facilities, allowing students to become more familiar with the school’s spaces and activities.
The initiative reaffirms ESCS’s commitment to providing a rich and welcoming international experience, ensuring that Erasmus+ students feel integrated and supported from their very first day.
