User Experience Design

1st SEMESTER / COURSE: BRANDING AND CONTENT MARKETING / OPTIONAL

This course has as objectives the acquisition of theoretical knowledge about the processes of people/digital platforms interaction and also of practical knowledge concerning the development of skills and competencies needed to create and evaluate interface prototypes. The students should understand the processes used by users to interact with digital platforms; characterize the main theoretical models used concerning interface design; dominate the concepts, laws and principles inherent to the user-centered design; define a framing for a digital project, in terms of users profile, objectives and requirements; and create detailed wireframes, functionally documenting them. In the end they should be able to apply the ergonomy principles to the conception of digital projects; implement a user-centered digital project conducting methodology; and produce and evaluate functional prototypes.
